Lori (Miller) Vinyard (1961 – 2025) was born in Boulder, Colorado 1961. The oldest of the Miller three children she pursued a path of creative energy in her chosen field of primary education and in her business career. Lori taught kindergarten and first grade at a distinguished Springfield, Missouri private elementary school. Following her marriage to John Vinyard in 1985 Lori accepted the position of general manager of August Max stores headquarted in Kansas City Missouri. Lori has maintained a long-standing interest in nonprofits and specifically in the support of charitable activities at the Red Cloud Indian School, Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Additionally, Lori was involved with the Longmont Community Foundation participating in Grant evaluation. Lori has sustained a life-long interest in American history and creative design.
Lori has two daughters, Alyssa and Kelsi.
